Michael Olise Becomes Crystal Palace's First Signing Under Patrick Vieira
18-Year-Old Forward Joins From Reading
Michael Olise has become Crystal Palace's first signing under Patrick Vieira, the Premier League club have announced.
The 18-year-old forward joins from Reading for a fee in the region of £8 million.
Olise, who has been capped by France at under-18 level, is a highly-rated prospect who has been linked with a number of top clubs in recent months.
He is a versatile forward who can play on either wing or through the middle.
Olise is a product of the Reading academy and has made 73 appearances for the first team, scoring 12 goals.
He is a quick and skilful player with a good eye for goal.
Vieira will be hoping that Olise can make an immediate impact at Selhurst Park as the Eagles look to improve on their 14th-place finish last season.
